The Splinter Cell: Conviction co-op modes are the best part of the game according to our Splinter Cell: Conviction review so it’s good news that more opportunities for co-op killing sprees are on the way. Ubisoft has hinted that co-op flavoured Splinter Cell: Conviction DLC is currently in the works.

Splinter Cell: Conviction fans should expect some “killer DLC” according to a tweet from Li Kuo, Ubisoft’s senior community developer. Kuo hit the UbiMultipass Twitter account to not-so-stealthily announce: “Co-op is huge hit! Good thing since some killer DLC is almost done – details later. Meantime keep getting ur free stuff every Thursday.”

The free stuff he’s talking about are the weekly drops of new Splinter: Cell Conviction weapons and skins. Elsewhere on Twitter, Sam Fisher is characteristically silent about the news of new Splinter Cell: Conviction DLC. He’s still chuntering on about the Third Echelon.

Ubisoft has said that more maps for the Deniable Ops mode are on the cards so it’s a safe bet that those will be part of the new Splinter Cell: Conviction DLC. Rest assured we’ll let you know as soon as it creeps into view.
