Blackberry fans are set to get their hands on a pair of new phones – the Blackberry Bold 9650 and the Blackberry Pearl 3G. With  a Blackberry event later today, the Blackberry Bold 9650 and Blackberry Pearl 3G have slipped out early. So what features can Crackberry addicts expect to tempt them to get high on this new supply?

BlackBerry Pearl 3G: Everything you need to know. Click here!

The Blackberry Pearl 3G is the spitting image of the Blackberry Peal 9100 leak we saw back in November last year, with an optical trackpad replacing the old school trackball and a SureType keyboard. We’re promised a 3.2MP camera, GPS and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

The Blackberry Bold 9650 shares its looks and features with the Blackberry Bold 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9650 also has a 3.2MP camera, GPS, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and an optical trackpad. Given that the Blackberry Bold 9700 already offers all of those features on UK networks, the Blackberry 9650 may be a US only model.

While the Blackberry Bold 9650 and Blackberry Pearl 3G info seems to be official details dropped early, expect fuller specs and UK specific facts later today. Hopefully we’ll hear some more news about Blackberry OS 6.0 too.

You made a mistake: “The Blackberry Bold 9750 also has a 3.2MP camera ….” instead of Bold 9650

      Fixed. Thanks David.

I’d be surprised if the Bold 9650 turned up in the UK. From the silver edges, it’s a clear update to the Sprint and Verizon only Tour phone, and doesn’t offer any benefits over the 9700, which has been on sale here since last year. Interested by the Pearl though – it looks as though a release could go head to head with the Palm Pixi.
