Dell Latitude E6410 ATG rugged laptop unveiled: photos

A new Dell Latitude E6410 ATG laptop, complete with Intel’s latest processors, epic battery options and a rugged shell for off road jeep journeys and the clumsy has quietly slipped on to Dell’s online store. Read on for the full gallery and specs.

The Dell Latitude E6410 ATG is a 14.1-inch semi-rugged laptop that’s designed to withstand a few knocks while still squeezing in the latest tech. Those open ports on the side mean it’s still best not to use the Dell Latitude E6410 ATG in a sandstorm, but otherwise, it meets the military grade STD 810G standard for coping with shocks, vibration, temperature, humidity and even altitude resistance should you fancy a tootle up Everest.

Inside the Dell Latitude E6410 ATG, you’ll find options for the latest Intel Core i5 processors (2.4 or 2.53GHz) or even Core i7 (2.66GHz) as well as up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive or 256GB solid state drive, just as you would on the slimmer, more colourful E6410 model that went on sale at the end of last month. The trade off for the rugged case is a lack of dedicated graphics so you might not get the smoothest ride with HD video, but the options for a four, size, nine or even 12 cell battery should come in handy – Dell’s not quoting unplugged battery times but you can bet the latter options will be big.

The Dell Latitude E6410 ATG is on sale on Dell’s UK site now, with specs ready to customise and a price starting at £1,049, but you can see it up close here first in our gallery.
