Monkey Island 2 Special Edition is due to arrive on Mac, PC, Playstation Network and Xbox 360 this summer and the first couple of screenshots have hit the Monkey Island Facebook page. Take a gander at the gallery above to compare a pair of classic scenes with their souped up Monkey Island 2 Special Edition screenshots.
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition is a complete overhaul of the classic game with remastered music, new voice acting from original Monkey Island cast and, most importantly, totally redrawn graphics.
In the Monkey Island 2 Special Edition screenshots above you can see Guybrush Threepwood talking to the Carpenter in the infamous “how much wood could a woodchuck chuck scene” and persuading trying to persuade some pirates round a campfire that he really is an infamous swashbuckler.
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition maker’s Telltale Games have already put Sam & Max on the iPad so don’t be surprised if you see a Monkey Island 2 Special Edition iPad game too. More screenshots from Monkey Island 2 Special Edition are being added daily to the Monkey Island Facebook page.
