Left 4 Dead 2 DLCLeft 4 Dead DLC was meant to drop in late-March but with that deadline hits on Wednesday and Valve has pushed back the release date for Left 4 Dead 2 DLC “The Passing”. Thankfully we have some good news about new weapons and enemies in The Passing to soothe your Left 4 Dead 2 DLC disappointment.

We found out last week that one of the survivors who made it through Left 4 Dead won’t make it to “The Passing” Left 4 Dead 2 DLC. But it seems like they’ll survive a little bit longer as “The Passing” is now set for a rather vague “Spring” release date.

The good news is that “The Passing” Left 4 Dead 2 DLC will introduce two new weapons – an M60 special machine gun and a golf club for battering the bloated heads of your zombie foes. The Left 4 Dead 2 DLC will also add two new enemies – a “Bride” version of The Witch and the Fallen Survivor, a Molatov cocktail sporting zombie.

Left 4 Dead DLC prequel to Left 4 Dead 2 was due in April but presumably that will now have its release date knocked back too. When “The Passing” Left 4 Dead 2 DLC does drop, it’ll set you back 560 points on Xbox Live.

Due Spring 2010 | £TBC | Valve (via Kotaku)

How disappointing. Been waiting on this DLC for ages and it now gets delayed on its release date. Sick of Valve and its constant messing about of its gamers. I been playing since L4D but y’know what I think it’s finally time to trade in these games. I can’t be bothered waiting anymore now.
