I’m pretty sure the desire has a bt 3.0 radio, which is why the desire’s Rom on the n1 doesn’t have working bt.

It’s a tough call – the HTC HD2 really is quite stunningly built. It’s massive, but it doesn’t feel it, and it’s staggeringly thin. But it also runs Windows Mobile, and despite HTC’s best efforts to cover up WM’s ugly side, it’s still all too visible in places. I’d plump for the Desire as Android will give you fewer headaches, and will likely be upgradeable overtime, where as the official line on the HD2 to Windows Phone 7 is no.

A mixture of absolute brilliance and complete stupidity. Love it and hate it at the same time.
Wouldnt recommend getting one until they sort out some of the ludicrous features ( eg cant easily hang up after you have called someone and accidently moved from the phone screen…..). I suspect I will throw mine in the trash shortly, then deeply regret doing so.
