The 3View Freeview HD box we got word of back in December has just been priced up for pre-order. It’s been given a little spec boost since we last saw it, so read on to see what this media streaming, on-demand high def machine is capable of here, and for how much.
We were impressed when the 3View box first launched late last year: Freeview HD skills, web widgets, BBC iPlayer, YouTube and a massive hard drive had us sold. Now though, we’ve got word of a few more tweaks under the bonnet: the 3View Freeview HD box now packs a huge 500GB hard drive, two USB ports for media playback, Sky Player on demand, and DLNA media streaming over your home network.
3View Freeview HD box adds Sky Player
You can pre-order the 3View Freeview HD set top box for £299 from 7 April. That’s not a bad deal at all, but unfortunately, 3View tells us there’s still no official shipping date, so you might want to hold fire with the credit card until we get hold of one for you.
