Natal, Microsoft’s motion sensing Xbox 360 camera kit, is expected to go on sale by the end of the year, but Microsoft’s just confirmed the date when it’ll be making its proper debut, complete with launch titles, and even ditching the codename. Read on for the skinny.

Microsoft let Sony grab the headlines at the Games Developers Conference this month with the PlayStation Move, but it plans to kick E3 2010 off with a bang. It’s sent out invites to the press to the world premiere of the “Project Natal” for Xbox 360 Experience, going down in Los Angeles on the evening of Sunday 13 June, which will be very late at night or early in the morning on Monday UK time.

Natal: Sega plans game for E3

Although Project Natal first appeared at last year’s E3, Microsoft has largely kept it under wraps, keeping things to a few demos and concept mock ups. We know a few publishers will show off new Natal games at E3, including Sega, but a final selling name, launch line up and price are still MIA.

Expect to find out everything about Natal in just over two months’ time – we’ll be sure to bring you it as it breaks.
