Meet the new Flip Mino HD. What’s inside? More storage? Check! Sharper screen? Check! HD recording? Naturally. Come and get a good gawp at it, manhandled for your viewing pleasure!
The new Flip Mino HD looks wonderful. From the moment you prize it from the Apple-esque packaging, it’s clear the Cisco-owned company has cranked up the quality levels.
The Flip Mino HD’s aluminium body feels solid, and the zippy action of that trademark spring-loaded USB connector is grin inducing.
Inside the new Flip Mino HD you’ll find 8GB of storage for two hours of high def, 720p video recording, and a larger two inch screen. On the base of the Flip Mino HD there’s a HDMI port to plug straight into your HD TV. Up top is that USB connector for loading clips onto a PC or Mac.
Out of sight, stored inside its metallic innards, the Flip Mino HD also packs all the software you’ll need to offload and organise your footage. That’s why the packaging, shown in our unboxing photos, is so small. There’s no CD, no set-up procedure, just fire up the Flip Mino HD, choose your language, tell it the time and start shooting!
Stay tuned for a full Flip Mino HD review, and in the meantime, get a good gawp at it in our photos above.
