The PayPal app update that added Bump skills for handset touching money transfer for iPhone is coming to BlackBerry and Android too, the company has revealed. Soon there’ll be no excuse for not settling what you owe on the night: read on for the full details.
You can already download a PayPal app for BlackBerry and Android, but only the iPhone PayPal app currently lets you tap phones to transfer money. That’s set to change though: at the CTIA mobile expo in Las Vegas this week, PayPal revealed that similar Bump updates are on the way for the BlackBerry and Android PayPal apps within two or three months.
PayPal’s mobile manager Eric Duprat also hinted at more devices for the payment platform, suggesting net TVs and gaming devices could also be used to pay your bills.
