The God Of War Collection, featuring the PS2 predecessors to the new God Of War 3, spitshined and polished in HD with added bonuses, has been dated for the UK on the PS3. Want to know when you can nab it? Read on for the details.
If you’ve just blitzed through God Of War 3 but missed out on the fun in the previous outings, you’ll want to check out the God Of War Collection, which crams PS2 titles God Of War and God Of War 2 onto one disc. Both will now run in HD at a smooth 60fps, even if your PS3 isn’t backwards compatible, and both games in the God Of War Collection now include trophies to collect too.

It’s already available in the US, but the God Of War Collection has finally been dated for the UK on 30 April, priced £24.99. If you’ve not bought the latest addition the series yet though, Sony’s also given word of a release date for the God Of War Trilogy too. As you might have guessed, it packs in God Of War 3 along with the first two giant slaying games, for £64.99 on the same day.
The God Of War Collection and Trilogy’s late arrival isn’t ideal timing for anyone who rushed out and bought God Of War 3 already, but if you’ve yet to experience the joys of titan toppling, you’ll be able to bag a triple whammy from the end of the month.
