Red Dead Redemption has been delayed until May but Rockstar has released a Red Dead Redemption gameplay video to keep you hungry for its Wild West adventures. Read on for some new Red Dead Redemption gameplay secrets…
The latest Red Dead Redemption video trailer emphasises Rockstar’s ambition to create a historically accurate game boasting about “a world that literally stretches on for miles.”
The Red Dead Redemption video promises a cast of hundreds of characters to go with the vast game world. Several areas are flagged up in the Red Dead Redemption trailer including the port of Blackwater and dusty Western plains packed with bandits and outlaws.
The anti-hero of Red Dead Redemption, Marsden, is seen herding cattle and capturing wild horses in the clip, just as we’ve seen him do in previous Red Dead Redemption video trailers.
Skinning animals in Red Dead Redemption will earn you in game currency and goods while killing buzzards that appear above carrion will give you access to sharpshooter mini-games.
Marsden’s modes of transport in Red Dead Redemption pop up in the latest Red Dead Redemption video too. You can upgrade your horse to gain more speed and stamina or travel by stage coach or train. It seems you’ll also get the opportunity to strafe bandits with a chain gun on the back of a speeding train.
Don’t be confused by the release date offered up in the Red Dead Redemption video though. While Rockstar will be rolling Red Dead Redemption out in the US on May 18, we’ll have to wait until May 21 in the UK.
Out May 21 | £TBC | Red Dead Redemption
