Splinter Cell: Conviction has opened an outpost on Twitter with Sam Fisher tweeting his thoughts as @real_samfisher. Is the goggle-clad hero of Splinter Cell: Conviction going to reveal any secrets about the game or is Ubisoft just letting him babble about what he fancies for lunch? Read on for more on @real_samfisher and Splinter Cell:Conviction.
Sam Fisher has found time to set up a Twitter account in the run up to the launch of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Its existence was flagged out by a image from Ubisoft revealing a page ripped out of a passport with a message from Sam Fisher scrawled on it: “Don’t believe what you hear. My mission is one of justice.”
So far, clues about what to expect from Splinter Cell: Conviction have been thin on the ground in Sam Fisher’s tweets. The first tweet from @real_samfisher referred once again to the death of his daughter Sarah in Spinter Cell: Double Agent: “Drunk driver…never believed that. I’ll do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this. For me…and for Sarah.”
We’re watching @real_samfisher for further clues on Splinter Cell: Conviction and, to be honest, to waste some time while we wait for the Splinter Cell: Conviction demo to hit Xbox Live tomorrow. The fact that Sam Fisher thinks an open Twitter account is the best way to contact the world is a little worrying.
