The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T, Acer’s latest super thin MacBook Air basher, has been leaked out in full before launch later this month. Want to know what it’s rocking ahead of schedule? Read on and we’ll tell you.
There have been whispers on the digital grapevine of a new super skinny laptop from Acer for months, but the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T has now been leaked in full by the blog Macles, which has a track record in outing Acer machines early.
While the 11.6-inch screen on the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T isn’t a step up from the previous 1830T model, the reported new processor, an Intel Core i5-520UM, is, meaning it should vastly outpace Atom-based netbook rivals. And despite the speed boost, Macles also says you can expect an eight hour battery life out of it.

We’re told that the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T will also pack an HDMI port, three USB ports and optional 3G for hopping online anywhere.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is expected to launch at the end of the month, so we’ll bounce back then with pricing: if Acer gets it right, it could boot MSI‘s X-Slim range right out of the game.
