iPhone Paypal app payments have suddenly got a lot simpler with features from Bump, an app that transfers information when you touch iPhones. Read on to find out how your Paypal will turn your iPhone into your own personal debt collector and solve arguments about splitting the bill.
The iPhone Paypal app launched back in 2008 with versions for Android and Blackberry following in its wake. But the latest Paypal for iPhone app (version 2.0) adds a nifty new way to transfer cash with Bump.
Once you and the person who owes you money have entered your details in the iPhone Paypal app and agreed to the transfer, you can simply touch your iPhones together to activate it.
The iPhone Paypal app update also adds a few other handy features. There’s a new calculator for splitting the bill at a restaurant, the ability to request money directly from the iPhone Paypal app and the option to set reminders to pay your bills on time.
Using the iPhone Paypal app to pay people back and call in debts could be joined by a way of paying for everything using your iPhone if Square gets off the ground. There’s also those iPhone RFID rumours to ponder which could make it incredibly easy to turn your iPhone into a virtual wallet.
Paypal is a free app in the iTunes store now.
