Great list – I didn’t know about Tube Buddy at all so I’ll definitely be checking that out. I’m still not a fan of any Twitter apps on BlackBerry, but yes, the Facebook app is excellent, especially the calendar integration and profile address book syncing. The only apps not here I use regularly are Google Maps (A must have compared to the awful BlackBerry Maps) and itookthisonmyphone for uploading pictures to loads of different sites on the web.

It’s quite interesting though comparing this to our round up we did last year though ( http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2009/05/15/all-time-best-blackberry-apps-top-20/ ) – it does show how little innovation there’s been in the BlackBerry space in that time compared to iPhone, Android and even webOS. While they’re all perfectly functional, only Urbanspoon and Google Maps stand out for me as having anywhere near an eyepleasing UI. I hope RIM can pull off the catch up it badly needs to with OS 6.0, whenever that happens.

Check out Seesmic for blackberry. I converted from Ubertwitter and haven’t looked back

I tried it for a while, but like the Twitter for BlackBerry beta, it just didn’t update for long stretches at a time for no discernible reason. To be fair, there have been a few updates since I last tested it, but it was also quite crashy on my 9700 too.
