Playstation Move (formerly known as the Playstation Arc), the Sony Playstation 3 motion controller, has just been unveiled at the Game Developers Conference and Sony’s revealed some of the games that are going to arrive with it. Get ready for Dukes, Move Party, Shoot, Slider, Sports Champions and TV Stars to get you swinging that Playstation Move controller around with HD TV screen threatening abandon.

First up in Sony’s set of Playstation Move dedicated titles there’s Dukes, a gritty bare knuckle boxing game that looks like Wii Boxing’s evil cousin and has graphics that remind us a little bit of Sin City.

Move Party is a much more family orientated game with an augmented reality angle that will find you using the Playstation Move as anything from a tennis racket to a paint brush with that object projected over the controller in the video taken from the Playstation Eye.

Shoot is a traditional light gun game where you can use the Playstation Move to shoot bad guys (including Red Dead Redemption-style cowboys and evil robots) and use the controller to duck out of the way. Meanwhile we’re not sure what Slider is all about though it appears to involve racing through a city on an office chair.

Sports Champions (still a working title) looks like it’ll be the Playstation Move equivalent of Wii Sports but with some seriously perked up graphics and a slice of Street Fighter-esque beat-em-up action thrown into the mix.

Finally, TV Stars seems to make use of the Playstation Eye camera to take snaps of your face which are then used for an avatar which you can give makeup and put through challenges with the Playstation Move.

What do you think of the new batch of Playstation Move games and the new controller’s integration with games like Tiger Woods 2011 and LittleBigPlanet? Let us know.
