An Vodafone 845 Android phone has leaked out online, and the tiny telephone is set to be cheap as chips and squarely aimed at the own-brand smartphone market owned by T-Mobile right now. But uniquely, it could come with Vodafone 360 social networking support.
All About Phones reports that the Vodafone 845 budget Android smartphone is set to be unveiled in May. Taking its cue from the T-Mobile Pulse Mini and HTC Tattoo, it will pack a small, 2.8-inch QVGA screen, and comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Android Vodafone 845 will also pack a 3.2 megapixel camera, we’re told.

What could help the Android Vodafone 845 phone stand out against them though is support for the Vodafone 360 service launched late last year. It’s not clear how deep that integration would go at the moment (People, the Vodafone 360 address book, was shown running on on Android at Mobile World Congress last month), but if you’ve got friends on the service, it could be a cheap way to join in the chatter.
How cheap? The source claims the Vodafone 845 phone will sell for around €150 (£136) on pay as you go at launch. That’s not as cheap as the £99.99 T-Mobile Pulse Mini, mind, but we’ll hold judgment until we see Vodafone 360 in action on Android.
