Sony Bravia NX803 Freeview HD TV hands on photos

The Sony Bravia NX803 Freeview HD TV, Sony’s newest flagship gogglebox, is on a lorry right now headed to shops. We’ve just got a look at that super smooth flatscreen with Wi-Fi, so read on for the photos.

We got a look at the 40-inch Sony Bravia NX803 Freeview HD TV today, and while it’s lacking the 3D of sets coming soon, if you’re more about design than the extra dimension, it’s the boob tube to get. The Sony Bravia NX803’s screen is LED backlit for better contrast ratios, and the aluminium frame blends seamlessly into the screen. The whole affair looks beautiful, and while pricey, still comes in way under Bang & Olufsen efforts.

Sony Bravia Internet Video: ITV Player incoming!

The Sony Bravia NX803 also comes with Wi-Fi built in, and like previous DLNA TVs will let you stream video from a PC straight to the screen. But this time the net access also lets you jump on to the Sony Bravia Internet Video Service, offering on-demand TV, and even Lovefilm movie streaming.

The Sony Bravia NX803 is out now in 40 and 52-inch flavours, but before you bop down the shops for one, get a good gawp up close here in our gallery.
