Flight Control has been on the most popular iPhone games and recently hit the Nintendo DS. But Firemint, the developer behind the super-addictive plane landing madness of Flight Control has revealed Flight Control HD for the iPad.

Firemint showed Flight Control HD at the Game Developers Conference revealing that it has altered the game to make use of the bigger touchscreen rather than simply upscaling Flight Control for the iPhone.

So far Firemint has only been able to test Flight Control HD on the iPad SDK simulator, testing the game’s larger control scheme with a Wacom tablet.

Firemint is promising that Flight Control HD will be a much more “immersive experience”. It’s promising Flight Control HD will be ready to hit the iTunes App Store in time for the iPad launch on April 3.

What other current iPhone games do you think deserve to be tarted up for the iPad?
