BBC iPlayer has been publicly available on Humax Freesat boxes since January, but now, the set top box cobbler has made things even easier and routed Auntie on demand straight to your remote’s red button!
BBC iPlayer on Freesat came out of private beta testing early on in the year, but until now, Humax Freesat owners had to type in a code to join in the fun. Fiddly pin number be gone: Humax has just given us word that anyone can now fire up BBC iPlayer via the magic of the red button instead, which should prove a lot easier to explain to technophobic parents.
