The Asus Cine5 PC speaker isn’t the most outlandish, expensive computer sound set up we’ve ever set eyes on. That honour belongs to the Harman Kardon GLA-55 crystal skull speakers. But Asus’ soundbar is much more practical, slicker, and claims to be the world’s smallest five channel speaker. Read on for the details.
The Asus Cine5 could be just what the doctor ordered if you live in cramped digs but want some extra sonic boost for your media centre: it packs 3.5mm ports for multi channel input, a 28W max output and frequency range of 80 to 20,000HZ.
You can forget about thumping bass with the Asus Cine5 of course, and we’ll wait to hear for ourselves just how surround the sound it pumps out is, but the Asus Cine5′s size could still make this the perfect addition to your computer set up if you’ve just moved into teensy student halls, say, and are missing an HDTV.
We don’t have any word on a launch date or price for the Asus Cine5 speaker, but expect this to come to the UK when it ships.
