The Asus PG276 massive 3D monitor marks the Taiwanese titan’s next big step into the next dimension. It’s already got a 3D laptop on the market, but later this year you’ll be able to bag a 3D, full HD 27-inch display that’ll put your expensive iMac screen to shame. Read on for what we know so far.

Asus has been cranking out new goodies at a relentless pace this week at CeBIT, and the latest lustworthy gizmo off the factory line is the Asus PG276: a 27-inch monitor with NVIDIA 3D Vision support. It may not look quite as tasty as Asus’ out there Designo MS display, but its dual link DVI connection will allow for full HD at 60 frames per second, so you won’t notice any stutter with the goggles on.

Asus says the Asus PG276 will be out later this year for an undisclosed sum, but if you just can’t wait, you’ll be able to pick up 23 and 23.6 inch models before then.

…”you won’t notice any stutter with the goggles on”… I don’t want to come home after a day staring at a computer screen to put goggles on to look at another! This type of 3D will not catch on!

This type of 3D will not catch on! >>> speak for your self buddy, because many companies are making 3D monitors ( samsung , viewsonic , Acer , alienware , asus , etc. ) and also many companies are making t.v that are 3D capable ( sony , mitsubishi, samsung , etc. ), and i bet you that it will be popular and you will be sad and alone with your normal PC monitor and normal t.v and everyone will go to your friend house who happened to have a 3D t.v and watch a nice movie like “Avatar” :P
