The Motorola Milestone debuted in the UK with more of a whimper than a bang late last year. With no network support, only online retailer eXpansys had the first Android 2.0 smartphone, but now you’ll finally be able to pick it up on the high street, with plenty of contracts to pick from, courtesy of The Carphone Warehouse.

While the Motorola Milestone has stormed the smartphone charts in the US as the Droid, it’s been something of an also ran in the UK, having been sold on eXpansys SIM-free or with a T-Mobile plan only. But now The Carphone Warehouse is selling it in more than 350 stores and online.

There’s an impressive variety of networks and tariffs to choose from too, with T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange plans for the Motorola Milestone all available. You can even pick it up for free on a 12 month contract, if you’re prepared to pay £50 per month, but the best value bets seem to be £30 per month two year deals.

The Motorola Milestone is on sale at The Carphone Warehouse, so if you’ve been waiting for Android version two with a keyboard, hop through the link below to check out the pricing.
