The Asus Eee PC 1018P super skinny metal netbook that leaked out last week has just been made official at CeBIT, along with a pair of slick little laptops that dispense with the Fisher-Price plastic image of the Eee line once and for all. Read all about them right here.
As expected, the Asus Eee PC 1018P is a slick metal affair that’s us 18mm thin. The 10.1-inch machine will come in four different colours, and packs USB 3.0 for fast file transfer, along with a fingerprint reader should someone lift the blighter from your bag.

Alongside the Asus Eee PC 1018P, Asus has also outed the Asus 1015P, with a wider touchpad and a removable battery with a stonking battery life of 14 hours. Finally, sporting a similar finish to the Asus Eee PC 1018P is the Eee PC Diary 1016P, although specs are still thin on the ground.
We’re chasing Asus for more details, but both the Asus Eee PC 1018P and 1015P are confirmed for the UK. Check them out here up close in our official photo gallery.
