Is Nokia about to unleash an Ovi Music service, pulling all its muddled Music offerings into one place? New evidence points to just that, and with DRM free downloads to boot.
According to PhoneReport, Nokia is about to stick its Music Store under the Ovi umbrella and rename it Ovi Music. Although no sources are given, NokNok has noticed that there is indeed now an Ovi Music tab on the Ovi Suite software, suggesting that Nokia is finally sorting out its confused music branding (Xseries, XpressMusic, Nokia Music, Comes With Music, the list goes on).

Here’s where things get really interesting though: the report says that the new Nokia Ovi Music store will sell DRM-free tracks. It’s not clear if this will include Comes With Music all-you-can-eat passes, but if it does, we’re very excited, and it could be the boost the service needs.
Nokia has yet to announce a new look Nokia Ovi Music service, but we’ll update if and when it does.
