Archos 8 Home Tablet: Android photo frame unveiled!

The Archos 8 Home Tablet has just been made official at CeBIT in Germany. It’s a net connected Android slate, but that big bezel positions it as an intelligent photo frame as much as an iPad rival. Read on for the specs and pricing.

We heard rumours about a new Archos tablet incoming, and here they are. Up first is the Archos 8 Home Tablet, packing 4GB of internal storage. It’s 12mm thin, weighs 400g and is out in May.

If the Archos 8 Home Tablet is just a bit too big for you, the French PMP maker has also just pushed out the Archos 7 Home Tablet, with a form factor much more similar to the Archos 5. It too runs Android and is 12mm thick, with a stinking 7 hour battery life churning through video and out a month earlier.

Both the Archos 8 Home Tablet and Archos 7 Home Tablet are priced at £129, with the seven inch getting an extra 8GB model for £149.99. Now, where on earth is that Archos Phone Tablet, guys?

Out May | £149 | Archos
