UPDATE: As we expected, the webOS 1.4 update for the Palm Pre is rolling out on O2 in the UK now.
If you’re a Palm Pre owner in the UK, you could be about to receive a nice little over the air upgrade, bringing video recording and even Flash support to your webOS wonder. Read on to see how we know, and what else is in store.
Rumours of a webOS 1.4 update that adds video recording to the Palm Pre’s camera, along with email and messaging improvements and Flash 10.0 support, have been circulating for a while over in the States, but one PreCentral forum member’s unlocked, European GSM Palm Pre is getting the update as of this minute, and he’s provided the screenshots to prove it.

Of course the Palm Pre is sold exclusively on O2′s network here in the UK, meaning updates like this are likely to be delayed whilst it checks everything is A-OK with them.
Palm UK declined to comment on whether it would be rolling out the update for UK Palm Pre users as it’s tipped to for US owners, but given its previous track record for launching major upgrades at midnight, we wouldn’t be surprised if that lovely little notification message sprung up tonight or over the next few days.
