Sonic 4: Episode 1 has created a lot of excitement here at Electricpig towers with the prospective of everyone’s favourite hedgehog returning in HD. Now leaked Sonic 4: Episode 1 screenshots seem to reveal the return of a classic Robotnik level boss. Is this a welcome bit of retro fun or evidence of a lack of ideas?
A pair of Sonic 4 Episode 1 screenshots, which appear to be genuine, have slipped out on to the web. One of them shows a wrecking-ball-wielding Dr Robotnik that might seem familiar to old school gaming fans.
The Sonic 4: Episode 1 screenshot is almost exactly the same end-of-level boss challenge that you’d have faced at the conclusion of Sonic The Hedgehog’s Green Hill Zone. We’ve put a screenshot from the original in the gallery to let you compare.
