The new Samsung 3D LED TV line wowed attendees at CES last month, but for anyone worried they’d never see commercial release, guess again: they’re rolling out from March, with the company’s first 3D Blu-ray player in tow.
Star of Samsung’s Las Vegas press conference in January was its new Samsung 3D LED TV line up. Super-thin and super-gorgeous, the first models are now set to ship in March in Europe, with the LED backlit 8 and 7 series and LCD 7 models hitting shelves first, along with the Samsung BD-C69000 Blu-ray spinner.
The first debutantes in the new Samsung 3D LED TV line will be followed by the LED 9 line (featuring a remote control you can watch TV on) and the 3D Plasma 7 Series later this Spring.
Samsung LED 9000 3D TV: hands-on
Unfortunately, Samsung is keeping mum on pricing for its new line up of 3D TVs and Blu-ray players, but with only a few weeks until the finally slip on to shelves, we won’t have long to wait.
Are you glad to see mainstream 3D TVs finally making it from tradeshow stands to shop floors? Is it a gimmick not worthy of an upgrade? Give us your two cents in the comments below.
