If you’re looking for slightly better sound out of your MP3 player, but don’t like having your lugs invaded by in-ear cans, the new Sony MDR-570 headphones could be right up your street. They slot over your ears and look the part doing it, coming in black, orange, green, brown and blue flavours.

Inside the Sony MDR-570 you’ll hear 30mm neodymium drivers doing their thing with your tunes, and there’s a promised 12-22,000 Hz range.
