Sony Alpha compact concept
Why’s it a game-changer
? Sony’s Micro Four Thirds battler

Sammy clearly wants in on the shift towards retro looking cams. And with the Samsung TL500, it’s done just that. Pentax W90
Why’s it a game-changer?
Rugged with new LED close-up tech

Why’s it a game-changer?

Zooms like this could soon be the norm, but for now, this effort is well worth stumping up for. It rocks some serious smarts alongside that lens, with 1080 video also thrown in for good measure. all for around £350.

Sigma SD15
Why’s it a game-changer
? DSLR trendsetter
The Sigma SD15 has been kicking around for a couple of years. But now the posh peeper people say it’s definitely on its way. Rocking 14MP, it promises to deliver stunning HD video, RAW shooting for hardcore enthusiasts and a Foveon X3 sensor which Sigma says will deliver slick colours unlike any other camera.
