Remember being told the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm 2 had been designed in collaboration with Vodafone, their exclusive carrier? Seems BlackBerry is now spreading the fruits of its union, letting T-Mobile send the finger-friendly smartphone in the UK too.

The move marks an abrupt diversion from BlackBerry’s previous strategy, offering the Storm and Storm 2 as premium handsets, exclusive to Vodafone. Now T-Mobile says the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be available free on contracts starting at £35 per month.

That tariff is a 24 month commitment though, packing in 600 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited internet and BlackBerry email. Sign up now at T-Mobile’s web store.
