We were the first to bring you photos of the T-Mobile Pulse Mini Android phone unveiled at Mobile World Congress this morning, but though we loved its dinky dimensions, its real selling point wasn’t on show. Nope, that’s the pricetag the network has just revealed for the pico Google phone on pay as you go: under £100.

We’re still to see any of those £60 Android phones Marvell says are on the way (And a trip to Marvell’s booth today found the company only showing the new tech to manufacturers behind closed doors) but the T-Mobile Pulse Mini will keep us happy in the meantime. You’ll be able to pick it up for just £99.99 when it launches in April, a shocking price for a phone with 3G, Wi-Fi and the latest version (Android 2.1) of one of the best smartphones platforms out there.

T-Mobile Pulse Mini: Android with a stylus!

It’s worth remembering that Huawei, the maker of the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, has had to cut a few corners to get the price down this low: GPS is a goner, and that itsy bitsy 2.8-inch display needs a stylus to get around.

Still though, with a price like that, suddenly Nokia Symbian S40 and Sony Ericsson candybar phones seem about as useful as a fire extinguisher filled with tequila. Check out our hands-on pics and videos, and stay tuned for a full review of the T-Mobile Pulse Mini in due course.
