See that phone? It’s the HTC Desire, and those are our fingerprints all over it. Jealous, aren’t you? Don’t be… Read on, click through our hands-on photos and see the HTC Desire up close for yourself!
The HTC Desire is, to all intents and purposes, the Google Nexus One phone with the HTC Sense UI onboard, a new optical trackpad and a few software bells and whistles. It’s speedy, and packs HTC’s new web browser, with a new pop-up menu to highlight words, cut and paste them, or look them up in a dictionary or wikipedia with a single prod. You can even highlight text and translate it on the fly too.
Of course, the HTC Desire features the newest version of Android (Eclair 2.1) as well as the newest HTC Sense with Friend Stream to see what your buddies are up to all in one place, just like the new HTC Legend.
We’ve already covered the HTC Desire specs, but the real story is that stunnah of a shell. Click through our hands-on gallery above and see the HTC Desire in action.
