Bioshock 2’s in-world radio station, Rapture Radio, is broadcasting now but something unpleasant has already befallen the broadcasters.
Bioshock 2 may have its own tie-in radio station but we’ve missed most of the ordinary programming. Beginning with hits of the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s, 2K Games had promised that the station would give us a peek into the festivities at the Rapture Masquerade Ball.
However, it seems all was not well at the ball and from the Bioshock 2 leaked ending, we’re not so surprised. Rapture Radio is now playing static and a public service announcement: “There has been an incident at the Cashmere Restaurant. Please return to the safety of your home.” Creepy.
Reports from listeners who got their earlier say the Bioshock 2 radio station did play the sounds of the Rapture Masquerade Ball but that they were interrupted by screams and chaos. You can tune in now via iTunes or through Windows Media Player.
Let us know if you’re playing Bioshock 2 and whether it’s living up to your expectations.
