The Acer E110, an unannounced Android phone, has just popped up on the records over at the Bluetooth SIG group, complete with a picture. Take a good look folks: is this a HTC Tattoo killer we’re gawping at here?
We were the first to bring you pictures of Acer’s debut Android phone, the Acer Liquid, late last year, but now it seems that a follow up is planned. The Acer E110 is now sitting pretty on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (the organisation that licenses the wireless tech) database, despite the computing giant saying a peep about the handset itself.

There are not too many details to be drawn at this point, but we know the Acer E110 will pack Android, HSDPA and a-GPS for quick location lock on, with Europe listed for intended availability.
However, from the screen proportions and large central button, we’d hazard a guess that the Acer E110 is a low resolution screen entrant akin to the HTC Tattoo. Whether it will get wider network support than the Acer Liquid remains to be seen of course, but we’ve got our fingers crossed we’ll be finding out more at Mobile World Congress next week. Let’s have some Android 2.1 action on here please, Acer.
