Bioshock 2 is out today and the ending has already leaked on Youtube. We’ve embedded it below and you can choose to watch it if you like but Bioshock 2’s developers claim you won’t understand it unless you play the game…
Jordan Thomas, creative director at Bioshock 2 developer 2K Marin, says: “People have no context at all for what’s going on, really, so it really won’t make much sense.”
Thomas says 2K Marin hopes people will wait to play Bioshock 2 through rather than skipping to the end on Youtube: “We just have to trust that people have individual disciplines. If they’re going to look at the ending of a game they haven’t played yet, we can’t do much to stop them.”
From watching the Bioshock 2 ending, we can say for certain that it’s pretty confusing and almost certainly relies on the rest of the game to make sense. But like we say, watch at your own risk.
