Had a Toshiba DVD player with upscaling for a year or so, and switched to HDMI when I got a Full HD telly at Christmas time. Okay, but build quality poor and the remote is terrible. Also no DVD resume feature was a deal-breaker in the end. Got a Philips BDP3000 blu-ray player for £89 which is way better, solidly made, good remote, and to my eye the DVD upscaling is sharper as well.
