The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Symbian feature phone just popped up on Vodafone’s website with a UK launch date. And wouldn’t you know it? Its older brother, the Sony Ericsson Satio, is now “Sold out“. Read on to find out when the succession takes place.
You’ll be able to get the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, complete with 8.1 megapixel camera and HD video recording on Vodafone from March. Price for the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is still to be confirmed, but you can register for updates if you’re super keen on the Symbian touchscreen blower.

We’re hoping Sony Ericsson actually makes this target (We’re still smarting over the loss of the Xperia X2), but to give it some incentive, the older Sony Ericsson Satio is now “Sold out” on Vodafone’s website, so if you’re a Sony Ericsson fan and want your Symbian fix, it looks likely you won’t have much choice now, on one network at least.
As with the Xperia X10 Android phone, Vodafone’s not mentioned exclusivity on the Vivaz so it may appear elsewhere too soon – we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
