Could the Google Nexus One be headed to T-Mobile UK? Vodafone claimed dibs on the Android phone back at its launch last month, but now the network has said it’s in talks to offer it too.

We thought only Vodafone would be selling the HTC made Google Nexus One phone with a subscription here in Britain, but Robin O’Kelly, T-Mobile UK’s head of corporate affairs, has responded to a question about a T-Mobile Google Nexus One offer on Twitter, saying “we’re talking to Google re nexus and hope we can come up with something very soon.”

Vodafone, which says it will stock the Google Nexus One from “early Spring“, has never claimed exclusivity on the Motorola Milestone toppler, but this is the first we’ve heard of a rival network in the UK vying for it too.

You can buy a Google Nexus One SIM-free and unlocked right now through Google’s website, but if you were hoping for a little bit of subsidy via a monthly payment, your options could soon get a bit broader. Stay tuned, we’ll update with more details when we get them.

I would have thought T-Mobile UK would end up with the Nexus One anyway since they are the carrier in the UK with the most android devices to their name (G1, myTouch3G, G2 (Hero), MotoCliq, Pulse). Nonetheless, good to see it could be making it’s way to T-Mobile :) .
