Jabra Extreme Bluetooth headset outed

The Jabra Extreme Bluetooth headset may have a name more cringeworthy than a Blue Peter anti-drugs song, but the new earpiece promises some serious sound quality for hands free jabbering, and we’ve got all the details on it right here.

The Jabra Extreme is a slightly more conventional Bluetooth headset than the quirky Jabra Stone, but its larger size combined with two mics and the company’s Blackout Extreme noise cancelling tech means it should provide clear conversations with minimal background hubbub: Jabra claims the Jabra Extreme can cut background noise by 24 decibels with it. It will also hook up to two devices simultaneously, so you can be linked to your PC and phone too if a call comes in.

Thankfully there’s nothing extreme looking about the Jabra Extreme, so you won’t come across even more odd than usual donning one, but it should prove a snug fit too as Jabra’s new “eargel” finish promises a slightly more comfortable sensation when shoved in your skull for hours on end.

The Jabra Extreme is on sale now, with an RRP a penny shy of sixty notes.
