UK charity Computer Aid already does a great job dishing out old PCs and laptops to schools, hospitals and local organisations in developing countries, but for this month only, it’ll also take your old gadgets off you too.
If you got a brand spanking new laptop for Christmas, and your old workhorse machine is now gathering dust, you’d do well to put it to good use by donating to Computer Aid, which refurbishes unwanted PCs for use elsewhere, and has delivered more than 160,000 to 100 countries in 12 years.
But for February, it’s also accepting a wide range of gadgets too, from old consoles to phones, so if you’ve got kit lying dormant in your gadget drawer (Admit it, you know you have one), you can make even more of an impact through Computer Aid.
Computer Aid will take any gadget, so long as it’s in working condition (collection options shown here), or alternatively, you can give a cut of your own eBay profits on any sold by following this link, which will give your item a charity ribbon icon and higher visibility. Hit the link below to find out more about how to donate.
