Insane news first: Lady Gaga has been appointed a creative director at Polaroid. The barmy pop singer will be “developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation”. A more sensible hire has been made by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s new firm, Square. The iPhone payments system creators have grabbed one of the key developer’s of Google’s Android mobile OS. Square for Android coming up? We think so.
Meanwhile we’ve got a pair of nifty little future stories for you – Vodafone says the Google Nexus One will be in the UK “within weeks” and Sony’s been asking Playstation Network lovers what features they’d be willing to pay a subscription for. The first hour of a game free? Now that does sound good…
