Telltale Software’s batch of classic games, including Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max and Wallace & Gromit have been rumoured to be set for a Mac rebirth before. But now there are hints that they could be following The Secret of Monkey Island onto the iPhone and hitting the Apple iPad.
MacLife reports that Telltale will begin supporting Macs in February with Tales of Monkey Island set to be revealed at MacWorld. They also claim that gamers will be able to download both Mac and PC version of Telltale titles for one price.
Tales of Monkey Island will arrive first before Sam & Max’s two most recent series make an appearance. MacLife’s source at Telltale also reiterated a determination to expand to “as many platforms as possible” igniting rumours that the games will hit the Apple iPad.
Since current iPhone applications will work on the Apple iPad, The Secret of Monkey Island will already be available on the new device.
