We suspected a new Olympus PEN Micro Four Thirds camera might be coming when the company popped up a teaser shot earlier this week, but now a new leak gives us a slightly closer look and some more details. Are we about to get a plastic, budget E-P shooter?
43rumors has got in ahead of Olympu’s planned launch date with a new spyshot and some more juicy details. It looks like the camera will be an Olympus PEN model, trading a metal body for plastic but keeping the sensor found in the superb Olympus E-P1.

A source also claims that the new Olympus PEN will have slightly swifter auto focus and “one new feature” that’s still to be revealed, but won’t be unveiled at the PMA tradeshow in February.
It’s not clear whether a new Olympus PEN would be pitched as a cheaper version of the E-P1 and E-P2, or just boast an even more achingly chic retro case, but we’ll be all over this one regardless as soon as Olympus pulls the trigger on an announcement.
