Red Dead Redemption doesn’t sidle into shops for another three months, so to keep you going until then, we’ve got some more new in-game footage for you, showing just how the weapons work in Rockstar’s Wild West.
We’ve already shown you what to expect from Red Dead Redemption in our first in-depth preview, but this new video shows the game’s Dead Eye targeting system in action in the most detail yet. Whack that play button and you’ll be able to see how you lay down targets on enemies in slow-mo, sepia style, before drawing and unleashing a flurry of bullets. Not since Max Payne has bullet time looked so good.

You’ll also get a look at the new weaponry in Red Dead Redemption. Sniper rifles and gatling guns have just been invented, and you’ll be able to use them all in your travels across the desert.
