An Archos 7 Android tablet is on the way, for those of you who found the French PMP maker’s last Google slate just a wee bit too small. We’ve got the skinny on all the specs and more right here.

Android Invasion! Everything you need to know about Android phones

ArchosFans got the scoop on the Archos 7, a customised Android tablet like the Archos 5, but with a larger seven inch display. Its screen resolution stays the same, at 800×480, while file support includes MP4, WMV, AVI, FLAC for audiophiles and even FLV should you fancy ripping Flash videos off the web.

The 8GB Archos 7’s estimated March release date though couldn’t be worse, given that the Apple iPad arrives then, but on the plus side, it should only cost around £150, less than half the price of the US Apple iPad.

We’ll be back once Archos makes the Archos 7 Android tablet official, and if you’re reading this in Paris, can we have some more gossip on the Archos Phone Tablet while you’re at it?

Out March | £TBC | Archos (Via ArchosFans)
