Apple threw no curve balls with the design of the Apple iPad: it really does look like a large iPod touch, with a black bezel and even the same home button on the front. But that’s no bad thing when the Apple iPad is only half an inch thick, looks so polished and canters along so quickly thanks to a 1GHz processor, made by Apple itself we might add.
Add to that the fact the screen on the Apple iPad is a fully blown capacitive multitouch display and we’re thoroughly smitten. Browsing, typing, watching videos and gaming on the iPad could be a potential big hit, and that’s before you factor in Apple’s new iBook Store, ready to stuff the iPad with more reading material than is necessary, even for a lengthy trip on Britain’s useless railways.
