Conde Nast demonstrated a digital tablet edition of Wired in November but now it seems to have dropped a major clue that it will be one of Apple’s publishing partners if the Apple Tablet arrives on Wednesday…
In a Conde Nast press release touting the success of its GQ iPhone app, the publishing giant seems to have dropped a major suggestion that it’ll coming to the Apple iPad / iSlate / iTablet:
“In addition to developing more content for the iPhone and the anticipated tablet from Apple, Conde Nast has formed a strategic partnership with Adobe to collaborate on creating technologies that will allow the company to design and produce a new generation of digital magazines.”
Now, Conde Nast’s PR bods could just be acknowledging the speculation that Apple will launch the Apple Tablet tomorrow. However, if any publishing house is going to be involved in Apple’s “latest creation”, Conde Nast seems like a good bet with its roster of high-end magazines.
We’ll be ready with all the news from Apple’s event on Wednesday but in the meantime check out our lists of 10 other possible Apple announcements, the history of the Apple iSlate and our ultimate Apple Tablet rumour round-up.
